Founded in 2009 by a visionary group of doctors, biotechnologists, and engineers, Madhumita Dairy Products Pvt Ltd began with a mission to revolutionise the dairy industry in India by making lactose free dairy products available. Peer reviewed scientific studies have shown that almost 70% of Indians have some form of lactose intolerance to varying degrees. Recognizing the growing need for lactose-free options, we dedicated ourselves to creating high-quality lactose-free milk and dairy products that are accessible to everyone.

From the outset, our focus has been on innovation, leveraging scientific expertise and advanced technologies to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and taste. Over the past few years, we have grown to become a trusted name in lactose-free dairy, making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with lactose intolerance while promoting health and wellness in our communities. In addition, our regular dairy products serve the needs of many and touch the lives of millions of people in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Today, we operate state-of-the-art facilities equipped for UHT milk processing, milkshake bottling and sterilization, paneer manufacturing, manufacturing of condensed milk and spreads in addition to our core facilities for milk processing. These capabilities allow us to deliver a diverse range of dairy products including lactose free products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and innovation. The project to manufacture lactose free milk was in part financed through the TIFAC-SIDBI Technology Innovation Programme (SRIJAN)
